Jason Fitzgerald Finishes 4th at Toccoa Speedway, Heads to Pair of WoO Events and Makes Two Appearances This Weekend
JACKSONVILLE, FL (August 14, 2008)- Jason Fitzgerald and the Mixson Motorsports Team traveled to Toccoa Speedway in Toccoa, GA this past Saturday and competed in an O'Reilly Southern All-Stars Series sanctioned event. The 50-lap feature event paid $5,000 to the winner and counted towards the series point's standings. Jason would run a strong race finishing a earning another top five finish finishing 4th in the final run down.
Jason and the Mixson Motorsports Team will travel to a pair of World of Outlaw Dirt Late Model sanctioned events this weekend. On Friday Jason will compete in a 50-lap $10,000 to win feature event at Fayetteville Speedway in Fayetteville North Carolina. Then on Saturday Jason will travel to Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania Georgia for another WoO sanctioned event paying $10,000 to the winner.
"Were excited about this weekends events. Getting a chance to run with the World or Outlaws Series this weekend will be a huge challenge but I've run well at both those tracks in the past. Were also excited about making a couple of appearances this weekend for our sponsor Tire Kingdom", stated Jason.
Jason and the team car will make two appearances this weekend for fans in the North Carolina and South Carolina area. On Friday Jason's car will be located at Merchants Tire in Garner, NC from 11am-1pm. Merchants Tire is located at 1480 US HWY 70W in Garner, NC 27529. Then on Saturday Jason's car will be at the Tire Kingdom store from 11am till 1pm at 118 Parris Island Gateway, Beaufort, SC 29906.
