JACKSONVILLE, FL (July 10, 2008)- Jason Fitzgerald and the Mixson Motorsports Team will travel to a pair of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned events this coming weekend. On Friday July 11th Jason will compete in Alabama at North Alabama Speedway for a $7,000 to win sanctioned event. Then on Saturday July 12th Jason will compete at the Columbus Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi for a $10,000 to win sanctioned event. Jason Fitzgerald and the M&M Motorsports Team  Heads to GIS, Launches New Website

JACKSONVILLE, FL (June 25, 2008)- Jason Fitzgerald and the M&M Motorsports Team will compete at familiar surroundings the next two weekends competing at Golden Isles Speedway in Brunswick, GA for a one-day $3,000 to win United Dirt Late Model Series sanctioned event on June 28th and a $3,000 to win National Late Model Series sanctioned event on July 5th.  Jason has turned many laps behind the wheel at GIS and had an impressive 4th place finish in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event back in April competing against some of the top dirt late model drivers in the country.

Jason the former crew chief of 4-Time dirt late model national champion driver Earl Pearson Jr. has teamed up with Murrell Mixon and the M&M Motorsports Team for the 2008 season. M&M Motorsports is based out of Jacksonville, FL and will use Mastersbilt Racecars as their chassis of choice with Custom Race Engines as their power plants for 2008. Jason is currently in 2nd place in the O'Reilly Southern All-Stars Series overall point's standings and leads all rookies in points for the "Rookie of the Year Award".

Jason Fitzgerald and the M&M Motorsports Team Heads to Carolinas for a Pair of Lucas Oil Sanctioned Events This Weekend

JACKSONVILLE, FL (June 19, 2008)- Jason Fitzgerald and the M&M Motorsports Team will travel to Cherokee Super Speedway in Gaffney, SC this Friday night and compete in the "Grassy Smith Memorial" that pays $7,000 to the winner. Then on Saturday night Jason and the team will compete at Fayetteville Motor Speedway for the "Dunn-Benson Ford 50" in Fayetteville, NC. Jason and the team competed in three Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned events this past weekend. On Thursday June 12th Jason competed at Duck River Speedway in Wheel, TN for a $7,000 to win Lucas Oil sanctioned event and finished 20th. Then on Friday June 13th the M&M Motorsports team traveled to North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, GA for a $10,000 to win Lucas Oil sanctioned event. Unfortunately Jason failed to transfer to the feature event. The final leg of the three day weekend happened at Talladega Short Track in Talladega, AL for another $10,000 to win Lucas Oil Sanctioned event. Jason missed the setup and failed to transfer to the feature event.

JACKSONVILLE, FL (June 11, 2008)- Jason Fitzgerald and the M&M Motorsports Team will travel to  three Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned events this weekend. Thursday June 12th Jason will compete at Duck River Speedway in Wheel, TN for a $7,000 to win Lucas Oil sanctioned event. Then on Friday June 13th the M&M Motorsports team will travel to North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, GA for a $10,000 to win Lucas Oil sanctioned  event. The final leg of the three day weekend will happen in front of the SPEED Channel Cameras at Talladega Short Track in Talladega , AL for a $10,000 to win Lucas Oil Sanctioned event.

Jason and the team competed inMaryville, TN this past weekend at the Mountain Raceway Park in an O'Reilly Southern All-Stars sanctioned event. Saturday June 7th Jason qualified an impressive 2nd fastest out of the 31 drivers entered. Jason would start from the outside front row and immediately took the lead on the first lap. Jason would lead the early stages of the race but after a caution Jason would fall back to 4th at the halfway point of the race. Jason would battle among the top five but finished 7th in the final run down. Jason is currently second place in the series points standings and leads the Southern All-Stars Rookie of the Year battle.

"We had a really good car this past weekend. I think my tires sealed over during one of the cautions because my car just quit going forward after that last caution. It felt good to lead as many laps as did and gives our team some added confidence that we can race for the win every week. Were starting to hit on some things that should make our team more consistent for the rest of the year. Were looking forward to racing with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series this weekend and running against those guys", stated Jason.  READ MORE
